MAKE A STAND ANNUAL WALK
Together we MAKE A STAND Against Abuse
We invite you to participate in the Make A Stand Walk at Macquarie Park on Wednesday 25 November 2026.
This walk marks the start of the annual 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence international campaign. It serves to raise awareness, advocate for enhanced support services, and honour those who have lost their lives to domestic, family, and sexual violence.
The Committee is proud to welcome guest, Dave Kramer. Dave is a behavioural scientist and gender-based violence prevention specialist whose work is both professional and deeply personal. He is driven by the legacy of his best friend, Hannah Clarke, and her three children. In their honour, Dave has dedicated his career to fostering empathy, courage, and meaningful connection within the communities.
Organised by the Ryde Hunters Hill Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Committee and sponsored by Ryde-Eastwood Leagues, the Eastwood Gladesville Liquor Accord, and North Ryde RSL.
