INDOOR BOWLS LATEST NEWS - MAY TO JULY 2023
This year has started well for the Indoor Bowls Club with several new members joining us. We welcome them all and hope they enjoy being part of our friendly group. There was a good attendance at our AGM in March. Our thanks to those joining our committee for the first time and to our retiring Vice-President for her many years of service. We play every Wednesday 12noon - 2.30pm and players should have their name recorded no later than 11am to be included in a team. The mixed social Indoor Bowls games continue to attract new members but there is always room for more players to join our happy group. We play every Wednesday morning and ask players to have their name recorded by 11am to be included in a team to play that day.
No special equipment or uniform is required but shoes without heels are essential. Most players wear runners or similar. We play from 11.30am - 2.30pm with a short break in between.

Since Indoor Bowls re - started in early November we have had great attendances at our games - everyone was so pleased to be back playing & socialising. Our Christmas breakup lunch in the Social Kitchen was also well attended & enjoyed. Many thanks to the staff for their organising skills & meals. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas & we look forward to many more enjoyable bowling sessions in 2022. We play social mixed bowls on Wednesday from 12noon to 2.30 - 3pm. NOVEMBER 2021
It seems an age but we are finally back playing bowls and socialising with our bowling friends. Our first day back started with morning tea in the Coffee Club where we had a great roll-up of enthusiastic members keen for a catch-up chat. We play every Wednesday from 12 noon - 3pm.
Players are requested to arrive at about 11.30am to allow time to organise teams. New members are very welcome to join.
