Worlds Greatest Shave

Inspired by his own cancer journey, Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club President Jim McClymont has raised $23,517 for the Leukaemia Foundation through the World’s Greatest Shave.

Club President Jim grew his hair for four months before shaving it off to raise funds for Australians living with blood cancer. “I’m 80 years old now and not since I was a teenager have I grown my hair this long, and with the longer hair I now appreciate the value of bobby pins for girls!” he joked.

Inspired by Jim’s dedication, CEO Carl Pozzato matched every dollar Jim raised, helping bring the fundraising total to $23,517.
